DAY 01: ARRIVAL SANTIAGO

DAY 02: SANTIAGO: Visit to the city

Breakfast. We begin our tour through the colonial city’s sector, where the O’Higgins Park and the Racetrack (Club Hípico) stand out; going along Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins Avenue we will reach the Presidential Palace La Moneda, nearby we will find Justice Palace, Main square (Plaza de Armas), the old Post Office Building and, in front of the Mapocho River, Mapocho station Cultural Center and the Fine Arts Palace Museum beside the Forestal Park. We will leave the civic city’s center behind visiting Santa Lucia hill, the foundation place of Santiago and the picturesque Paris and Londres district, to access the modern business centers of Providencia and El Bosque districts and the elegant residential and commercial districts Vitacura and Las Condes.

DAY 03: SANTIAGO: Tour Valparaíso y Viña del Mar

Breakfast. In the morning we will begin our visit to Valparaiso city, a picturesque city rich in an autochthonous architecture, inspiration for artists and poets, which has been declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO; this city is located 120 km away from Santiago alongside the Pacific Ocean.
The impacting view of the wine producing Valleys of Curacaví and Casablanca can be appreciated during the trip. The tour through the City of Valparaiso begins at the Prat Pier, from where we can watch the port’s ceaseless activity, which is located on steep slopes through which narrow streets and funiculars. The tour continues visiting the most important squares in the city, the Senate building, a stop at the vantage point Mirador 21 de Mayo (Viewpoint), with a view of the city and Valparaiso bay.
Then we will visit the neighboring City of Viña del Mar, known as “Garden City”; on our tour through this traditional beach resort we will be able to appreciate the beautiful residential neighborhoods from the early XX century, the monumental flowers clock, the Presidential Palace and the Quinta Vergara with its beautiful gardens and amphitheater, where the popular Song Festival (Festival de la Canción) de Viña del Mar takes place. Following the coastline we will reach the modern beach resort of Reñaca and the rather more traditional of Con Con. We will stop on the way for lunch.
After that return to Santiago.

DAY 04: SANTIAGO - PUNTA ARENAS - PUERTO NATALES
Breakfast. At according time transfer to Santiago airport to take flight to Punta Arenas. Arrival, reception and transfer towards Puerto Natales city.

DAY 05: PUERTO NATALES: Navigation Glaciers Balmaceda and Serrano

Breakfast. Early departure from Puerto Natales to take a vessel and navigate the Sound of Last Hope (Seno de Última Esperanza). During the tour it is possible to watch an environment surrounded by mountains and forests, sea lions frisking on the rocks, and in the sector called "Colony of Cormorants" you will be able to appreciate these huge birds, the biggest in Chile. The vessel approaches Balmaceda Glacier and then stops at Serrano, where we will come ashore for a walk through the forest up to the shore of the lagoon and its floating icebergs. It is common to see huge chunks of ice cracking and plunging into the waters of the fiord.

DAY 06: PUERTO NATALES: Excursion Torres del Paine National Park

Breakfast. Early departure from the hotel starting with a visit to Milodon Cave, a natural monument composed by three caves (the largest being 150 m high) and a rocky conglomerate called La Silla del Diablo; a great number of remains from the primitive inhabitants of this zone can be found in this place, along with bones of prehistoric animals; you can visit the small field museum. Continuing the tour we will border Sarmiento, Nordenskjöld and Pehoé lakes, always before the imposing presence of Torres del Paine mountain massif and with a varied fauna, where the characteristic herds of Guanacos are outstanding. In the park we will visit viewpoints and waterfalls, where amazing and diverse views will wonder us at every stage. Through an inner route we arrive to Grey Lake, where we will appreciate the glacier of the same name, which is one of the largest in the sector and constitutes the end of South ice fied (Campo de Hielo Sur).

DAY 07: PUERTO NATALES - PUNTA ARENAS: Navigation Reserve of The Penguins on Magdalena Island (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays)

Breakfast. Transfer to Punta Arenas city. In the afternoon navigation to Magdalena Island, which along with Marta Isle conform this natural monument called The Penguins, natural habitat for more than 120.000 Magellanic penguins and one of the largest penguin nesting places in southern Chile, paradise for birdwatchers.
Arriving in the island is a spectacle. It is a two-hour navigation across Magellan Strait where you can watch spectacular panoramic views of Punta Arenas, the plains of Tierra del Fuego and oil fields of Cabo Negro or Laredo Bay. All this to arrive in this place 35 km away from Punta Arenas city and deep into the proper strait. Once there, the scenery is even more beautiful, where penguins, cormorants and sea lions, among others, are the main players. For an hour you will be able to watch thousands of penguins and their nesting places going through paths running from the coast up to the top of the island, where there is a lighthouse along with the Environmental Center Interpretation with the history of the strait and the fauna of the place.

DAY 08: PUNTA ARENAS – PUERTO MONTT (OR PUERTO VARAS)
Breakfast. Depending of the time of your flight, we suggest you to take a tour across the city or visit some of its interesting museums.
Transfer to Punta Arenas airport to take flight to Puerto Montt city. Arrival, reception and transfer to your selected hotel.

DAY 09: PUERTO VARAS: City tour in Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas

Breakfast. Pick up from your hotel to take a tour to Puerto Montt, Regional Capital of X Region, located in a protected bay of the Pacific Ocean; we will visit its Plaza de Armas (Main Square), Cathedral, its Colonjization Monument, Viewpoints and residential neighborhoods, appreciating its architectonic heritage and races mixture. Besides, we will visit the traditional Angelmo Market offering seafood and craftsmanship in a relaxed mood. We will continue towards the beautiful City of Puerto Varas or “Roses City”, located next to Llanquihue Lake, with an awesome view of Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes. On the way we will deleite ourselves admiring its German style architecture, its traditional church, the Mount Philippi viewpoint, residential neighborhoods, the square, the casino, Puerto Chico and stands selling handicraft. The city tour includes a short walk across the downtown. Optionally, you may taste some zone speciaties at any of the numerous restaurants in the sector.

DAY 10: PUERTO VARAS: Navigation Lake of Todos los Santos up to Peulla.

You can not leave the Region of the Lakes without previously sailing across the Amazing Todos los Santos lake, to visit the world renowned Petrohue falls and Peulla, a small ecological hamlet with a population of 150 inhabitants, which is part of the famous tourist circuit called Crossing Lakes. Once we have visited Petrohue falls, we will embark on Lagos Andinos Catamaran to navigate for nearly two hours Todos los Santos lake, watching Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador Volcanoes.
Arrival in Peulla, lunch. Free time in Peulla, where you can choose from a variety of optional excursions on adventure and nature tourism that is offered, or walk around village and its trails by your own. Return in the afternoon navigating and then in a vehicle to your hotel.
