During the trip you will be able to appreciate the impacting view of the wine producing Valleys of Curacavi and Casablanca. Right after we visit the neighboring City of Viña del Mar, called the “Garden City”; on the tour through this traditional beach resort, we will be able to watch the beautiful residential neighborhoods from the early XX century, the monumental clock of flowers, the Presidential Palace and the Quinta Vergara with its beautiful gardens and amphitheater where the popular Festival de la Cancion de Viña del Mar takes place. DAY 05: EASTER ISLAND: Full day tour Rano Raraku Volcano
Rano Raraku Volcano Breakfast. On this day we will tour the island after the mystery behind the construction of the Moai. The first stop after your departure from the hotel takes us to an Ahu yet to be restored, the Vaihu Ahu, located in Hanga Tee Bay on the island’s south coast, and witness of the destruction phase that took place centuries ago. We continue to the region of the Akahanga Ahu, whose legend tells us that the tomb of renowned King Hotu Matua is located at the side of the Ahu. We continue towards one of the most important places of the Rapa Nui Culture, the Rano Raraku Quarry, located on the slope of the volcano with the same name, where approximately 900 statues in total were carved, 397 of which are still lying or standing on different stages of their construction and transportation. We will proceed towards the Tongariki Ahu, restored in 1995, with its 15 standing statues. Then we will visit the archaeological remains called "Navel of the World". Finally we will reach Anakena Beach, where we will find the Nau Nau Ahu and the Ature Huki Ahu, both of them restored. We can also appreciate the warm waters of the Pacific, or rest on a beach of pink sand under palm trees. Return to the hotel.

DAY 06: EASTER ISLAND: Tour Orongo and Ahu Akivi
Rano Kau Volcano Breakfast. On this day we will climb the extinct Rano Kau Volcano, where we encounter a view of the island with its coasts and volcanoes and the Town of Hanga Roa. We will reach a vantage point from where the crater of the Rano Kau can be seen, with its lagoon stretching more than one mile in diameter, and in close proximity the ceremonial Village of Orongo, where the ceremony and competition of the Birdman – Tangata Manu – took place. We continue towards the Vinapu Ahu, with its architecture reminding us of the constructions of pre-Inca peoples. By the end of the tour we visit the Ana Kai Tangata Cave, where it is possible to appreciate rock paintings depicting seabirds. Return to your hotel.
In the afternoon we visit the Akivi Ahu, archaeological center of the Roihi Sector, it was the first one scientifically restored in the 1960s; it is a particularly interesting ceremonial place not only because of its location (in the middle of the island) but also because of the legends surrounding its seven Moai, which represent the seven first explorers sent to scout the island by King Hotu Matua. We continue towards the Ana Tepahu Caves and the Puna Pau Quarry, located east of Hanga Roa, a small crater of red rock where the pukao or head adornments crowning the Moai were extracted from. Some unfinished and abandoned Moai can be seen along its ancient exiting tracks.

WEATHER
Santiago has a mild weather with Mediterranean hints. In the summer – December through March – the thermometers can reach up to 30º C, while there are intense though short downpours in the winter – June through August –. The annual average is of 14° C. The region of Valparaiso in general presents a climatic variety depending on the geographic zone, meaning it is mild on the coast, pretty cold in the mountain range and warm in the central sector.
The City of Valparaiso has a subtropical weather, with an average temperature of 20° C.
Easter Island has a sub tropical weather, influenced by the winds and the ocean currents, with an annual average temperature of 20° C. In rains all year round on the island of the Rapa Nui – another name for Easter Island –, although sporadically and for short periods of time. May is the month with the most pluvial precipitations.

WHAT TO PACK
It is necessary to pack all sorts of clothes, since it is very cold in winter mornings in the capital and temperatures can reach highs of 30º C in the summer. Easter Island has a mild weather, rather warm, during the summer (December through March) and somewhat cool during the winter. Include a light parka by all means or a watertight cape to cope with the frequent rain showers, sunscreen, bathing suit, sun cap and a warming coat for the winter.

WATER
There is fresh water in almost the entire territory, although, it is advisable to drink bottled water in rural areas; more though if you are not used to tap water.

HEALTH
Santiago has an important network of hospitals, clinics and medic posts, most of which have an emergency service. We can find several hospitals on the island, though one of the most recommended is the Hanga Roa Hospital, which has all the necessary equipment to perform surgery and respond to emergency situations 24 hours a day. Besides, it has dental and pharmaceutical services.

CHILEAN GASTRONOMY
Chilean cuisine is very diverse. Among its typical dishes we have: Empanada de Pino (dough stuffed with onion, meat, raisins and olives), Pastel de Choclo (made mainly of corn with meat, eggs and olives), Porotos Granados (tender potatoes cooked with gourd and corn), Cazuela de Ave o Vacuno (clear soup of chicken or beef with boiled vegetables), besides those typical of each region.
Lastly, you can not fail to taste the exquisite Mote con Huesillos, a dessert elaborated from a boiled fruit and mote wheat.
