DAY 01: BALMACEDA – PUYUHUAPI (Tuesdays or Saturdays)
NOTE: For its correct operation this program requires for you to take either of the following flights: Arrival in Balmaceda, Saturdays: Lan 091, Tuesdays: Lan 281.

Reception at the Balmaceda Airport. The tour begins through the Patagonian pampas of the Region of Aysén, until we see the City of Coyhaique. The large pampas of remains of burnt forests are vestiges of the colonization of this region. After a brief visit to the city center, the trip continues following the beautiful Valley of the Simpson River until we reach Puerto Chacabuco. There the PATAGONIA EXPRESS catamaran will be waiting for us to set sail on a journey of approximately 5 hours across the austral fiords and canals until we reach our destination: Termas de Puyuhuapi, Hotel & Spa. The route runs through one of the most exuberant sceneries of untamed nature on the planet, virgin and uninhabited forests get down from the scarped mountains that plunge into the sea abruptly on a tangle of fiords and islands.

DAY 02: TERMAS DE PUYUHUAPI HOTEL AND SPA: Optional excursions

This welcoming hotel, located in the Puyuhuapi Fiord, surrounded by virgin forests and the silence of the canals, offers pools of thermal waters in open air and on the seashore, trails prepared to go on hikes through the cold forest, visit to the Queulat National Park with its Hanging Glacier (Ventisquero Colgante), rides on bikes through the Austral Highway or, if you wish to, tour Dorita Bay on boats and kayaks.
The Spa installations include pools with hydromassages, Jacuzzis with sea and thermal waters, a pool with water from a stream and a sauna are the anteroom to benefit from the sessions of talasotherapy, relaxation massages and facial treatments, among others.

DAY 03: PUYUHUAPI – SAN RAFAEL LAGOON – PUERTO CHACABUCO

At 07:00 hours begins the journey through the austral fiords onboard the Patagonia Express catamaran to encounter San Rafael Lagoon. During this trip of approximately 7 hours our senses will rejoice with the transparency of the waters, the majesty of the Andean Mountain Range wrapped in dense forests, the display of sunlight beams intertwining with the clouds and, occasionally, playful encounters with dolphins and toninas or Commerson’s dolphins.
The navigation route goes along different canals until finally entering San Rafael Lagoon, which houses the millenarian glacier descending from the Campo de Hielo Norte (North Ice Field), through the Témpanos River.
After staying for about 2 hours by the glacier, we will sail back to Chacabuco, where we will arrive at around 22:30 hours, to then be transferred to the hotel in Puerto Chacabuco.

DAY 04: PUERTO CHACABUCO - BALMACEDA
After breakfast we take a bus to take the road alongside the Simpson River from Chacabuco up to Coyhaique and from there to the Balmaceda Airport. Returning flight.
