DAY 01: ISLA DE PASCUA – EASTER ISLAND: Arrival

DAY 02: ISLA DE PASCUA - EASTER ISLAND: Tour Orongo

Breakfast. Today we will go to the top of the extinct volcano Rano Kau, where we will be able to have a view of the island with its coast lines and volcanoes and the Village of Hanga Roa. We will arrive to an outlook space where we can see the Crater of Rano Kau with its lake of more than a kilometre and a half and beside it we will find the Ceremonial Village of Orongo, where the Ceremony and Competition of the Bird Man - Tangata Manu - takes place. We will continue towards the Ahu Vinapu, with its architecture, which reminds us of pre Inca peoples and their buildings. At the end of this excursion, we will visit the Ana Kai Tangata Cave, where we will be able to appreciate cave paintings with motives of sea birds. Return to your Hotel.

DAY 03: ISLA DE PASCUA – EASTER ISLAND: Full Day Tour to the Volcano Rano Raraku

Breakfast. Today we will search the Island to try and solve the mystery of the building of the Moais or giant Stone Head Statue effigies. Our first stop after leaving the Hotel will be at a Ahu that has not been restored, the so called Ahu Vaihu, located in the Bahía de Hanga Tee Bay on the South coast of the Island, a testimonial of a destructive phase that took place a few centuries ago. We go on to the Region of Ahu Akahanga, which legend tells us that the Tomb of the famous King Hotu Matua is to be found beside the Ahu. We will go on towards one of the most important sites of the Rapa Nui Culture, the Quarry Rano Raraku, located on the skirts of the Volcano of that same name, where approximately 900 statues were carved, out of which 397 of them are to be found laying down or standing up, but all of them unfinished and in different stages of their making and or transport to their intended final place. We will continue onto the Ahu Tongariki, restored in 1995, with its 15 statues standing up. Then we will visit the archaeological remains called the "Ombligo del Mundo" or the "World's Navel". Finally we will arrive to the Playa Anakena Beach, where we will find the Ahu Nau and the Ahu Ature Huki, both which have been restored. We can also appreciate the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean rest on the beach with its pink sand under the palm trees. Back to your Hotel.

DAY 04: ISLA DE PASCUA – EASTER ISLAND: Tour Ahu Akivi

Breakfast. A half day tour visiting the Archaeological Centre of Ahu Akivi, in the Sector of Roihi, and which was the first one to be scientifically restored during the sixties, and which is a particularly interesting place, not only for its location in the Centre of the Island, but also for the legends spun around its seven Moais, which represent the seven first explorers that were sent to explore the Island by the King Hotu Matua.
We will continue to the Ana Tepahu Caves and the Quarry of Puna Pau, located to the East of Hanga Roa, a small crater with red stone, from which the ancient inhabitants were able to acquire the so called Pukao or head ornaments, which crowned the so called Moais or famous Stone Head Statues. All along the old exits from the quarry we will find some unfinished examples of Moais, which have been abandoned.

DAY 05: ISLA DE PASCUA – EASTER ISLAND: Return Flight
Breakfast. At the appropriate hour, transfer to the Airport of Easter Island.
