DAY 01: LA SERENA: Arrival in La Serena
Arrival, reception and transfer to hotel of choice.

DAY 02: LA SERENA: City tour - La Serena and Coquimbo
Breakfast.
Half day tour to the Cities of La Serena and Coquimbo. We set off from the centric sector of La Serena, characteristic for its well preserved Spanish neo-colonial architecture and its great number of churches. A visit to the Archaeological Museum allows appreciating a display concerning the cultures that inhabited these deserted valleys before of the arrival of the Spanish colonization. We continue to the Market of La Recova, with a colorful sample of craftsmanship, gastronomy and popular life. Setting off from the city center we will visit a vantage point to appreciate the great Bay of Coquimbo. We then continue towards Del Mar Avenue, a modern holiday and tourist neighborhood located along the coast until reaching the City of Coquimbo. Tour around Coquimbo, where the port activity stands out, along with the picturesque barrios hanging from the hills, and the bohemian barrios of frantic nightlife. The landscape at the bay is dominated by the imposing Cross of the Third Millennium. Return to your hotel.

DAY 03: LA SERENA: Tour Valley of Elqui
Breakfast. Full day tour to the Valley of the Elqui River. From La Serena the valley gets right between high and arid mountains that contrast with the green of the farming fields in the valley. The dam of Puclaro collects the waters of the Elqui River forming a huge lake used by aquatic sports devotees, who find wind and sun in here all year long. 60 km away we find the most important city in the valley, Vicuña, birthplace of poet Gabriela Mistral. Here we will visit the Plaza de Armas (Main Square), the church and plant for the production of pisco. As we get into the valley the ever higher peaks give way to the nearly exclusive cultivation of grapes. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Visit to the tomb of Nobel Prize winner Gabriela Mistral in Montegrande on the way back.

DAY 04: LA SERENA: Transfer to the airport
Breakfast. In due time transfer to the bus terminal or the airport of La Serena.
