Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art
Among its over 3,000 items on show are ceramics, textiles, paintings and sculptures that show the history and development of the Andean and Central American cultures before the arrival of the Spaniards.

Museum of Popular Art in the Americas
It is run by the School of Arts of the Chilean National University and possesses over 5,700 items of pottery, basketwork, textiles, musical instruments, religious images, leather items and bone and wood carvings which represent the artwork of different peoples in the Americas. The objects on display were donated by the governments of different countries in the continent on the first centenary of Chile University (1842-1942).

National Museum of Natural History
Its different display halls show valuable collections of anthropology, botany, entomology, geology, hydrobiology, taxidermy and zoology, as well as Chile's main vegetable and mineral products.

10 a.m. up to 5.30 p.m. Sundays and holidays from 12 a.m. up to

through March). The museum is closed on January 1, Holy Friday,
May 1, September 18 and 19, November 1 and December 25.
Entrance fee: adults 600 pesos; children, students
and persons over 60 years of age 300 pesos. Free for children under
8, members of the Armed Forces, Carabineros (police force) and Police
Detectives, as well as foreign students with the International Student
Credential.
