Archaeological
and Ethnographic Museum of Loa
This exhibits an interesting display on the Andean peoples of Calama, from their hunter-gatherer period to the arrival of the Spaniards, reflecting their historical and cultural development. Likewise there is an exhibit of arts and crafts in volcanic stone, cactus, textiles, ceramics and copper. It is located inside the El Loa Park.

R.P. Gustavo Le Paige Archaeological Museum
Located in the town of San Pedro de Atacama, hosts an impressive collection of almost 450,000 archaeological items and more than a hundred ethnographical exhibits - many of which were catalogued and collected by the Belgian priest Gustavo Le Paige- and that show the development of the Atacama culture over its 11,000 years of existence.
