The settled waters and relentless wind of the Caburgua Lake become accessories of a fantastic adventure called windsurfing, a sport where dexterity and adrenaline will find a space in the adventure offer of Pucon.

With an extension of 5700 hectares, the waters of the Caburgua are warmer (between 5 and 8 degrees Celsius) than those of the rest of lakes and lagoons in the zone, due to the thermal emanations of its bottom; it is located at 23 kilometres from Pucon.

The Villarrica Lake, east of Pucon, is another alternative; it has an extension of 17300 hectares and a depth of 350 metres, it is one of the main tourist destinations of the zone; it is recommendable to visit it between October and March.
